Who is this hackathon for?

This hackathon is designed for developers, DevOps engineers, and security professionals who want to strengthen their application security skills in today’s AI-driven development environment.

What is the format of the hackathon?

This is a live, 3-hour virtual hackathon where participants will complete a series of real-world AppSec scenarios within a fixed time.

You will be challenged with multiple scenarios, and your score will be based on how quickly and accurately you identify and resolve them.

Points are awarded for correct answers, and penalties will apply for incorrect submissions, so both speed and precision matter.

Do I need prior AppSec experience to participate?

Not at all. Whether you’re new to application security or experienced, the hackathon is structured to help you learn, explore, and apply secure coding practices at your own level.

What do I need to participate?

You will just need:

A laptop or desktop with a stable internet connection
A modern web browser (e.g. Chrome)
A corporate email address for registration and access
Your registered account (we’ll provide access details upon confirmation)

No additional setup is required - everything will be provided for you.

How will winners be selected?

Participants will be ranked based on their total score, which considers both accuracy and speed in completing the challenges. The highest scorers on the leaderboard will win.
